Local Tips for Your Trip

In Volastra, life moves at a gentle pace, but a little planning will help you avoid peak hours:

The Cinque Terre Card: If you plan on taking more than two train trips a day, the card is the best value and also includes the shuttle bus between Manarola and Volastra.
"Cinque Terre Hiking" App: Download the park's official app to have offline maps of the trails with you at all times.
Late Night Returns: Always check the time of the last shuttle from Manarola back to Volastra to avoid a steep uphill walk after dinner (beautiful, but challenging!).
